His eyes were half closed in bliss as he enjoyed the scent of his lunch, that he almost missed the lone blue feather, almost comically, float down to the ground. He burped so loudly it seemed to shake his whole cave. Some time later, after lecture and a nap, Scar felt a tightness in his throat. “Actually, about my mother and playing with my food,” Scar taunted Zazu, “she encouraged it.” With a final slap of his larger belly, he layed down and awaited the arrival of his dear brother. Unfortunately he only added to Scar’s pleasure of eating his food whole, and his tough lion belly would suffer no damage from a little hornbill for a start. On the inside Zazu saw the mouse from earlier floating in a pool of digestive acids, now half melted itself, and began to punch and kick and peck until Scar let him out. So he said, “It’s been fun, but I think it’s time for you to settle into your new nest.” With this final taunt Scar tilted his head back as he lifted a paw to his neck and swallowed feeling him slip all the way down as he squirmed and screamed, “But I like don’t want a new nest!” Scar chuckled as he licked his lips and saw his belly grow bigger. He squirmed wonderfully for such a small creature, but as time grew short Scar knew he would need to finish soon. But Scar wouldn’t even acknowledge his food’s pleas for mercy. Scar’s tongue absorbed as much flavor as it could, while his teeth chewed on Zazu’s flesh. Zazu was surprisingly tender and soft for a bird, probably because he had grown quite fat, never needing to worry about being eaten… until now. H-H-HEELLLP!!!” But before he could fly away scar managed to chomp down on Zazu, encasing him in his mouth, cheeks bulging as they were so full. “Now Scar,” Zazu said, trying to stay calm as Scar advanced on him, “don’t look at me that way. “Ooh, I quiver with FEAR!” he growled this last word, setting his hungry look upon Zazu. But the two of them alone for a few uninterrupted minutes was all Scar needed to get the job done. He had always wanted to eat Zazu, the hornbill seemingly taunting him with the fact that he was, by law, inedible. “Yes, well you’ll lose more than that when the king gets here in ten minutes, he’s as mad as a hippo with a hernia.” Scar was actually delighted by this news. Zazu was disgusted by the way Scar licked his lips, and would surely have felt scared if he wasn’t an important figure in Mufasa’s court. He couldn’t fully enjoy this meal with Zazu here, however, so he simply licked it over a few times before swallowing. As he picked it up he said, “Oh look now Zazu, you almost made me lose my lunch.” With a flick of his paw he threw the mouse into his mouth, not wanting to risk losing it again. So you’d better have a good excuse for missing the ceremony this morning.” As he spoke the mouse slipped out of Scar’s grasp, it made a dash for it’s hole before Scar once again slammed his paw over it. “I’m here to announce that king Mufasa is on his way. “What do you want?” Scar said placing his paw over the mouse, the pleasure of eating gone now that Zazu was here. “Didn’t your mother ever tell you not to play with your food.” It was the hornbill Zazu, a pain in Scar’s side ever since he replaced his mother as the king’s majordomo. Before he could, however, he was interrupted. And you,” on this word the mouse tried to jump, figuring he would have a better chance of survival this way, but Scar managed to catching between two toes, “shall never see the light of another day.” He laughed taking pleasure in asserting dominance over this small, pathetic creature.”Adieu,” he said as he rolled his tongue out to place the mouse on. He let his morsel crawl around his paw as he said, “I, well I, shall never be king. “Life’s not fair, is it?” he asked, flashing his teeth but for a moment. He had a dark brown pelt and a black mane, and looked particularly hungry. Soon he was brought close to the maw of the brother of the king of the Pridelands, Scar, so named due to the scar over his left eye. As he was lifted up by his tail he squirmed trying to be set free. It didn’t land on him with enough force to squish him, but he’d soon wish it had. Soon he smelled something strange and when he looked up he tried to run away, but wasn’t fast enough for the gigantic paw slamming down on him claws fully extended. A little mouse came out of it’s hole in a cave, sniffed around a little before it started to groom itself.
